Wedding Photography + Filmmaking
Create a brand and website that felt like a true extension of Geordan’s personality while attracting couples drawn to nostalgic, emotionally driven storytelling.
Objective
Before the rebrand, Geordan already had a magnetic personality and deeply emotional work — but her online presence wasn’t fully capturing the warmth, creativity, and documentary-style storytelling that made her so memorable in real life.
This project became less about reinventing the brand and more about building a home for the personality already behind it.
The Shift
- handwritten notes
- vintage magazines
- film photography
- scrapbook layering
- summer nostalgia
- handmade illustrations
- soft documentary imagery
- collected ephemera
The identity system became intentionally playful, expressive, and flexible. Hand-drawn typography, layered graphics, stamps, textures, nostalgic illustrations, and scrapbook-inspired elements all worked together to create a visual language that felt deeply personal and unmistakably human.
Instead of simplifying the personality away, the brand gave it more room to exist.
Identity System
The website was designed to feel immersive, playful, and emotionally grounded.
Layered typography, scrapbook-inspired layouts, warm imagery, and breathing room helped create an experience that felt more like stepping into Geordan’s world than browsing a traditional portfolio.
The goal was to make people feel something before they ever reached the inquiry form.
Website Experience
We did not want trend-driven, black and white wedding brand.
It was more about creating a recognizable emotional world around Geordan herself that immediately communicated warmth, personality, creativity, and documentary-style storytelling.
By leaning further into what already made her different, the brand became more memorable, emotionally resonant, and deeply relatable.
Strategic Thinking
Geordan described the shift best herself:
“It feels so me and the way I want it to feel as I create for others: emotive, warm, romanticized FOR SURE, irreplaceable"
The new identity gave Geordan a brand world that finally felt aligned with the experience of knowing her in real life.
From the website experience to the smallest illustrated details, every touchpoint now reflects the same warmth, creativity, humor, and emotional honesty present in her work — helping attract couples drawn to authenticity, nostalgia, and human storytelling.
