A free-spirited and truly so-cal inspired brand
Inspiration
Cody and Kendall came to The Cabana because they had an idea of where they wanted their brand to go, but they had no idea how to visually get there. They wanted a soft, casual brand, with a hint of nostalgia and class. We took this idea and ran with it in order to create a brand that was exactly what they desired. The result? A brand that truly makes you feel like you’re driving down the road on a warm summers day, slowly dancing to the music, and daydreaming the day away.
When I land on this website it makes me instantly feel, the warm nostalgic vibes that I would want from my wedding. This speaks so clearly to me and I would book them in a heartbeat if I was in need of their services.
Exploring the site feels like flipping through a treasured photo album. I used elements that contributed to the warm and grainy aesthetic and to give visitors a sense of sun-soaked memories and nostalgia. The result is a website that doesn't just showcase The Haines’ photography and videography, but invites visitors into a nastolgic-feeling California dream.

My favorite thing about the Haine's brand is the subtle elegance it holds. It’s like a whisper pulling you in. The thick to thin serif typeface paired with organic lines and oval shapes makes for a mark that may remind you of a stamp on a love letter. The H is connected by a double armbar to create an elevated feeling while conveying two souls uniting. I created a tonal color palette to go along that is inspired by a walk on the beach, or drive on the winding oceanfront roads.
