A heritage-inspired brand, crafted to stand the test of time.
Inspiration
The small, unassuming word ‘of’ was a guiding word for JJ’s brand. It depicts legacy, with names carried down through generations. So, I incorporated ‘of’ into the key design.
As JJ works with couples on their wedding days, last names tend to change or merge, creating a new family line. This visual element helps personalize the experience and bring a piece of his brand into each couple’s story.
A key emphasizes entry to a place where you spend time with loved ones. Or in a romantic sense, a key to the heart.
"I loved the story behind JJ’s brand name. There were so many layers of family history and memoir that I aimed to weave into his copy. I wanted this to feel like a real legacy piece."
JJ came to The Cabana because he felt his brand didn’t accurately represent who he was or where his business was going. He wanted a brand that looked and felt different from the other wedding videographers out there. Together, we crafted a heritage-inspired brand that showcased JJ’s creativity, artisan approach, and would help him connect with his dream clients.The result? An heirloom brand crafted to stand the test of time.

The story behind the name is what truly drives this whole brand. We want people to feel the heartwarming presence of a grandparent, and sitting for hours looking at old scrapbooks of their memories. It starts from the moment they discover House of Jacob, all the way to when they get their final video deliveries that JJ will craft.
